House fire
AKRON: Firefighters responded to a fire early Monday in what appears to be a vacant house after receiving several calls about the burning building.
The cause of the fire, in the 100 block of Overlook Place, is undetermined, according to an incident report.
Authorities said flames were shooting from the building when firefighters arrived shortly after 1 a.m.
The intensity of the blaze prevented firefighters from entering the building.
A defensive attack was made on the fire, the report said.
There were no injuries reported and no estimate of value has been set.

A southbound section of Massillon from Esther Avenue to Triplett has been one lane for several months.
